As AndroidSpin reported, HTC has a lot of devices planned for the future, deeply embedded into their current ROMs. I thought it was confusing enough with all these code names, be prepared to get even more confused with the invasion of Android devices from HTC, if they are as good as the ones the make for Windows OS, I will so be looking froward to it.

Its been about a year since the Android market was launched with the desire to compete with the Apple app store, among other things. Apparently, however, developers are not so happy with the layout of the market and feel that it makes their applications hard to be noticed. According to a recent survey done by Skyhook Wireless, 82% of developers that participated were in dismay.

When it came to profits from apps, 57% of the dev's agreed that they are not very happy with the amount of profit they make from the marketplace.

LG is a very common househould name, and their mobile phones are some of the most popular. But even this powerhouse hasn't seen much love this holiday season as their most popular carrier, Verizon, did not include and LG phones in their fall/winter lineup. This may be due to Verizons large efforts to market their recent Android devices DROID and HTC Eris, but we will leave that to speculation.

We discussed here, the rumours got hot, then cold, then now it's gotten hot again. Google-backed mobile operating system Android has been given a boost in the mobile WiMAX space due to a partnership between D2 Technologies, Beceem Communications and ECS.

As per our previous story, HTC Touch B will not be running android, instead, it will be running the Brew Mobile Platform. Rumour is just that, a rumour.

Thanks AndroidCommunity

Remember the Sholes Tablet? The specs that we’ve been given to mull over are pretty impressive: 550MHz OMAP TI 3430 processor (same as the DROID), 3.7″ touch screen, 800 x 480 resolution, HDMI port, 3.5mm headset jack, UMTS/HSPA, 8 megapixel camera, and a xenon flash; all running on Android 2.0, probably 2.1 at time of launch.

Those on AT&T can now buy a HTC Hero, tailored for their network from Negri Electronics. Don't want to wait? Have spare US $579.50? Then head on over to their site and order one. 850/1900 UMTS suited to the bone.

Are you like me, itching to get one? I might wait until it is available from an etailer in Australia like expansys though. But if you don't want to wait or you are in the UK it's available for pre-order NOW at £349.00. And according to them, it comes with Donut!

The frogs at it, yet again!
