Well we all have read the hype over the last week about the Nexus One, and Googles reply of course. It seems that the rumors were true..and someone has leaked the ROM for Android 2.1 from the device. The guys over at Sholes.info have the files available if you want to try this yourself, but be aware there are issue present and you can damage your device if you mess something up. FRANKFURT/SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Google Inc plans to sell two versions of its own-branded cell phone: one with a service contract with T-Mobile USA and another that is unlocked, a source familiar with the matter said.

Images of the "Google Phone", aka the Nexus One, have been leaked on Twitter. Rumours are that HTC Corp. has been contracted by Google to manufacture the Nexus One and that it is scheduled for a January release. There is also talk of Google selling the Nexus One directly to consumers, bypassing any involvement by individual mobile carriers.
