Sprint notifies that there is an update for the Samsung Moment, however you would have to visit one of their stores to get it. The OTA will be available 'soon'.
Current Version: S:M900.8.0S.CL14
** NOTE: The latest software update CL14 is currently only available by visiting a Sprint retail location with a Repair Center. Check our store locator to find a Repair Center location near you. We recommend you call ahead and make an appointment to avoid long lines.

According to some recent information, Sprint is reporting that their HTC Hero and Samsung Moment devices will skip Android 1.6 and 2.0 and head straight to 2.1! This would be great for the device owners and bring some much needed love to two powerhouse devices.

Happy to announce Android 2.0 is coming to Sprint’s Hero & Moment. Date TBD, but roughly 1H 2010.

Artem informed us that Sprint has pushed out some important updates for the Sprint Hero with the issues it has had since launch. If you haven't got it yet try and dial *#*#checkin#*#* from your dialer and check back to see if your update started pusing.
